What sucks is we all have different speakers. Maybe it just sounds different on mine or something. My speackers don't have as much bass. So my bass may be louder than it needs to be.
I like to return the favor. THIS IS FUCKING GREAT! Do you use mac whatever it is called? i dont have a mac but ive herd good things about mac band or whatever it is called.
1.) I like to target those who like to make reviews, especially those who like to return the favor, so reviewing helps everybody out. I also don't mind if you mention what songs I reviewed or what new songs you make on here. I'll do it for you this time. I reviewed you MARIO Docks Tranceity, and it was very cool, and a bit ambient. It's important that you listen to the whole thing because it changes in the middle. If you respond to reviews, I also like to review your audio. And I almost always review a flash after I've seen it, so people who are review hungry, come talk to me and leave a review ;)
2.) I have no idea what "mac whatever" is, but I can tell you what I do use. The good majority (say 90%) of these songs were using a finale product [Finalenotepad (free lite version, but does not convert into mp3, u have to use a recorder, which often times lower quality)), Finale Demo (free and imports other finale products but can't save stuff so you wound up making mp3 by using a recorder), or Finale Allegro( 200 freakin bucks, but the second best finale product...the best costing 800!]. It's very similar to a sequencer, and it's hard, almost impossible, to make trance and techno with it so thats why u never see that kind of stuff from me. It's very difficult to mix different VST's (Infact it's impossible, u need to use a single sound font that's capable of making sounds for every instrument and there are only 2 of those that I have). It comes with a decent Soundfont though ...it better had too, it's expensive. It's good for classical, but with some work it makes some neat rock too. Most of all, these aren't like some of those mixers where u just mix a drum sample with a melody sample. No every single sound and every single note was written down by me. I had to come up with the drums too, so it's harder than it sounds. Think about a MIDI sequencer if you've ever used one, it's almost identicle to that. Actually, if you use a MIDI sequencer, this would be very easy to use and increase your potential and skill and sound by a huge amount.
The newer crispier songs are made like that cuz I use a program called Audacity to edit how the mp3 sounds. It doesn't change the music, only adds reverb, echo, amplitude, bass boost, etc. I suggest you learn how to use that, even though it only increases the sound of the song by about 20% for me. I'll have to learn how to use it properly.
Um..what else.. oh yea, try Synth Soft, it's a new thing I got and am using (i haven't uploaded anything done on it yet). It will import MIDI and u can give everything it's on sound font, that's on advantage over finale. Only certain Finale products import MIDI, and I've yet to learn how to adjust the sound font for each track (I can only use the same VST on each track).
Thanks. But if (when) you come across a song by me that you think is bad, review anyway and tell me what you think. A review like this is nice, but doesn't really tell me anything...
